Please note that some of the functions and reports are dependent on specific elements of data being provided in the Hospital Discharge Database. An example would be that Physician identifiers must be available in the data to run the Physician Activity Reports and other Physician specific reports.
The INTELLIMED Strategic Decision Support Software Application, Intelligent-Client version (IM-IC, Version 6.2) is the newest and most advanced version of the system available today. It has also been proven to be the most valuable and versatile version available in the market today. This system provides one of the most valuable tools available for data analysis and market comparisons required by providers in the healthcare market today. The system includes Inpatient and Ambulatory Data Reporting function for market share analysis, utilization analysis, payor mix analysis, physician relations management, service line analysis and many others.
The INTELLIMED IM-IC System includes the Sg-2 Impact of Change™ Model ("IoC") which is the leading, most accurate forecasting model available today. The model considers over 500 factors impacting future healthcare utilization including economic trends, reimbursement projections, technology trends, practice patterns, insurance coverage, clinical innovations and a host of socio-cultural factors.
On a DRG, age, gender and geographically specific level, the IoC Module forecasts future facility needs by discharges, days and length of stay for specific markets. Hospitals and healthcare systems can translate these forecasts into operational projections; beds, procedure rooms, operating suites, interventional suites and ancillary services. Traditional healthcare forecasting models often overlook many of these critical factors that influence tomorrow's market.
That's why INTELLIMED now offers Sg2's Impact of change Module within the IM-Intelligent-Client application. Now hospitals can accurately forecast future discharges, days and utilization, in order to:

The INTELLIMED IM-IC System operates with a small installation of the software system on the designated user's desktop workstations. Each of the user's desktop workstations must have Internet access for connection to the INTELLIMED Data Server. Data retrieval is encrypted for HIPAA compliance and requires minimum bandwidth. The use of a T-1 or DSL line enhances performance. The reports, graphs and files generated from the System are easily exportable to MS Excel or HTML. The license granted for this version can accommodate any number of users, each having their own password and user ID. All updates for the IM-IC version are easy to implement via a downloaded from the Internet
The IM-IC version of the application is recommended for ease of operations, speed of report generation and no data handling or installation.
