Kris Jamsa Joins INTELLIMED as Vice President of Product Development
PHOENIX, Ariz., January X, 2017 – INTELLIMED, a Phoenix, Ariz.-based healthcare data analytics company welcomes Kris Jamsa to its team as Vice President of Product Development. In his new role, Jamsa will focus on expanding the capabilities of INTELLIMED’s flagship products – IntelliClient and Physician Pattern Insight (PPI) – as well as new product development.
“Kris’ extensive experience in healthcare and product development is a major asset to the executive team at INTELLIMED,” said Bill Goodwin, MBA, CEO of the company. “His knowledge of big data and data analytics will allow us to expand our current product capabilities and develop new products to meet our customers’ data analytics needs in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.”
Jamsa joins INTELLIMED following a career spanning the healthcare, education, publishing and retail industries. Throughout his career, he has led the development of a wide range of healthcare application solutions, including big data dashboards, mobile applications and secure cloud-based HIPAA-compliant products. Jamsa holds two PhDs and 5 master’s degrees across the computer sciences, education and business disciplines.
As the former founder and president of Jamsa Media Group, Jamsa has authored over 110 computer books, the topics of which examine network protocols, operating systems, programming languages, hardware internals, security and wireless as well as hand-held devices.
In addition to Jamsa Media Group, Jamsa worked at Scottsdale-based Vistacare as its chief information officer as well for Gilbert-based LifeNexus as its chief technology officer.

Jamsa is originally from Seattle and moved to Arizona when he was in high school. He has lived and worked in Houston and Las Vegas as well. As a graduate of the Air Force Academy, Jamsa served in the U.S. Air Force for five years. “I am color blind, so couldn’t fly jets,” he shared. “So I studied computer science while in the Air Force instead.”
Currently residing in Prescott, Ariz., Jamsa enjoys living on a ranch there with his wife, who trains horses, and their five dogs – including three rescue dogs, one all the way from Thailand. Jamsa said he enjoys living in Ariz. for the great climate, technology opportunities and proximity to his family, particularly his grandsons.
